❋ Equine-Assisted Shadow Work Sessions

Private equine-assisted coaching sessions for women who are ready to stop circling the same patterns and discover what's underneath them..

This is for you if...

  • You've been in therapy or coaching for years, but need help with actionable steps forward

  • You keep ending up in similar situations with different people or jobs

  • You crave connection with horses, nature, and something bigger

  • You've tried multiple healing modalities and something still feels stuck

  • You're exhausted from trying to figure it out on your own

  • You're ready to stop managing your emotions and instead start honoring and moving through them

This is NOT for you if:

  • You're looking for someone to tell you what to do

  • You're not open to doing real inner work that requires effort— this isn't surface level

  • You're in acute mental health crisis (this work is powerful but it's coaching, not a replacement for therapy — if you're unsure, let's talk first)

Why is shadow work the key?

Shadow work is the process of exploring the parts of yourself that may be unconscious, suppressed, rejected, or hidden — often called the “shadow.” These can include beliefs, fears, coping mechanisms, or patterns that developed through life experiences.

The goal of shadow work isn’t to “fix” yourself, but to bring awareness, compassion, and understanding to the parts of you that may be influencing multiple areas of your life. Through this new level of awareness we can start to rewire old beliefs and conditioning to support new beliefs that are conducive to making decisions in alignment with our dream life.

Benefits of exploring the “shadow self” include:

-Improved emotional regulation and increased intuition and self-trust

-Healthier boundaries and relationships

-Healing shame, insecurity, or people-pleasing patterns

-Breaking repetitive cycles and self-sabotage

-Feeling more authentic and aligned

-Clarity around limiting beliefs

-Access to hidden strengths, desires, self-compassion, and creativity

-Deeper mind-body connection

Why horses — and not just another coach?

In nature, horses are prey animals, so their survival has always depended on reading the emotional state of the herd around them. They primarily utilize non-verbal communication which heightens their attunement to our emotions and energy through biological signals and intuition. Their electromagnetic field extends up to 50 feet — far larger than a human's — because they have a larger heart. When you step into the corral, they're already absorbing and responding to your nervous system. They don't respond to the story you're telling. They respond to what's actually happening in your body.

In equine-assisted shadow work, horses help bring these unconscious patterns into awareness through their sensitivity to emotions, energy, body language, and nervous system states. Horses respond without judgment, so they act as mirrors that you notice patterns you may not have fully seen before.

That's why equine-assisted coaching works when everything else hasn't. You can't intellectualize your way through a session. The horses won't let you. And that's exactly the point.

  • "My sessions with Olivia and the horses have touched me more deeply than I can fully put into words. They have helped me feel grounded and gently brought back to myself — without judgment. The work has illuminated what’s been standing in the way of the life I long for. Olivia holds such a compassionate, steady presence. Her insight feels both intuitive and precise, and she has a beautiful way of guiding toward clarity while allowing me to discover my own truth. I feel deeply seen, understood, and supported in a way that feels safe, empowering, and profoundly healing."

Here’s what to expect

Every session is different because the horses and I offer intuitive guidance tailored to you. But this is how sessions are structured.

Before you arrive: You'll fill out a short intake form so I know what you're coming in with. This helps guide the session and focus in on the area that most needs help.

When you arrive (at the table outside the corral): We'll start with a quick overview of how this works —the science behind why horses are perfect guides for this practice, how they read our nervous systems in real time, and what mirroring means. Then we will touch on what do you want to work through today.

Grounding (before we go in): Before we step into the corral we do a short grounding practice — a body scan, tuning into your five senses, connecting to your surroundings. This gets you out of your head and into your body and congruent before stepping into the corral.

In the corral (with all four horses): This is where the real work happens. As you approach the horses I'm tuning into — body language, how you engage, what you notice. The horses are watching and feeling too. They're already responding to what you're carrying, even if you can't feel it yet.

We'll move through a back-and-forth dialogue. I'll ask you questions. The horses will show us things. Sessions tend to go one of a few directions:

  • Following the feeling: What are you feeling right now? How can you let yourself feel it more fully? What does the horse show you about what you need?

  • Following the mirror: Does this horse remind you of yourself? Of someone in your life? Of a dynamic you keep finding yourself in?

  • Following the body: Where are you holding this in your body right now? What happens if you breathe into it? What is the horse showing you about where this lives?

By the end of the session we land somewhere real — a pattern named, a memory surfaced, an action step that feels true instead of forced.

After your session: You'll receive a personal follow-up email from me with my observations and notes from our time together. If it feels right to continue, I'll share how.

What actually changes?

  • -A specific pattern or belief you can name — not a vague sense that something is off, but a real thing you can point to.

  • -A felt understanding of where that pattern came from you’ll have the "oh, that's why" moment.

  • -Relief. Not fixed, but lighter. Like something you've been carrying got set down.

  • -A concrete action step or reframe that feels true in your body, not just your head.

  • -Evidence that you're not broken — you perspective shifted and felt it.
